About
This intense, five-day event for 2005 was dedicated to the important question of the role of neural synchrony in mind, brain, and consciousness with the aim of laying out clearly an experimental and theoretical research agenda to test the viability of theories of mental function, particularly consciousness, based on synchronous oscillation of neurons and neuron groups.
A follow-up fall weekend retreat took place October, 2005 in Paris, France.
Another follow-up meeting, "Synchronous Rhythms in the Brain," will take place June 18-20, 2007.
